Our Story
Catalyzed in 2020, Brugman's Place, LLC is a timely and innovative one-stop-shop for trauma-informed and strategic peacemaking serving all sides of the coastal Atlantic. With a particular interest in family systems, we specialize in conflict coaching, transformative mediation, and development consulting. Our goal is to form cross-sector partnerships that assist individuals, households, and organizations in the achievement of their self-defined development goals.
Name Meaning
Brugman's Place is the BRIDGE between theory and practice you didn’t know you needed. We don’t play peacekeeper and we don’t instigate conflict. We understand that many environments in this world don’t meet our needs or honor our innate human rights. For that reason, we have chosen to not disrupt those spaces, but to understand them, and then create something new for ourselves. Here, we develop individual, household, and organizational capacity to embrace individual complexity and apply creative approaches to meet human needs and sustain good health.

I'm Angelique (ANGEL-EEK), a human first. I came earth-side on the Northern part of the Americas, encompassed by the Arctic, Atlantic, and Pacific Oceans in the Western Hemisphere. Specifically, the most Northern part of the Mid-Atlantic region within the continental United States on the island of Manhattan. From the shores of Long Island, to the five boroughs of New York City, to the Hudson River and Bear Mountain, to Lake Placid and Ithaca - my personal story begins under conditions that are currently known as, the Empire State.
Nowadays, I reside in the state of Massachusetts, where innovation abounds. In my free time, I enjoy wavy beaches, creative writing, comedy, seafood, self-anthropology, and Airbnb experiences. Click here to view my c/v.
